Shipping Policy

Last Updated: [Insert Date]

At Tennessee Boulders LLC, we coordinate the delivery of natural stone materials, wall boulders, and aggregates directly from quarries to your job site. Our goal is to ensure that every shipment is handled with care, efficiency, and clear communication throughout the process.

1. Delivery Coordination

We work with trusted freight and hauling partners to coordinate shipments within the continental United States. Delivery details, including timing and destination, are confirmed once payment is received and order preparation begins.

Because stone is a heavy and specialized freight item, delivery schedules depend on factors such as quarry loading times, truck availability, distance, and weather conditions.

2. Shipping Rates and Fees

Shipping costs are calculated based on:

  • Total weight or tonnage of the order

  • Destination and distance from the quarry

  • Type of freight equipment required (e.g., flatbed, dump truck, etc.)

All shipping rates are provided in advance and confirmed in writing prior to delivery. Any additional charges (such as detention time, site unloading delays, or redelivery) will be communicated promptly if applicable.

3. Delivery Requirements

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the delivery location is accessible and safe for large freight vehicles. Please confirm that there is adequate space for unloading and that any required equipment or personnel are on site at the time of delivery.

If a delivery attempt cannot be completed due to site inaccessibility or customer unavailability, additional fees may apply.

4. Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times are provided for scheduling purposes but may vary due to:

  • Weather conditions

  • Equipment delays or maintenance

  • Quarry or freight carrier scheduling

  • Road restrictions or unforeseen logistical issues

We will communicate any significant changes or delays as soon as possible to ensure transparency and proper coordination.

5. Risk of Loss and Inspection

Ownership and risk of loss transfer to the customer once the material leaves the quarry or is delivered to the designated freight carrier.

Customers are encouraged to inspect all materials upon arrival. Any visible damage, discrepancy, or issue should be documented immediately and reported to Tennessee Boulders LLC within 24 hours of delivery.
